1st Ourimbah is run by a group of dedicated Volunteers, and we are in need of a few more Leaders to add to the team. We have openings for Cub (8-11), Scout (11-14) and Venturer (14 to 18) Leaders. If you have a passion for delivering life skills to our youth, please send your expression of interest to amanda.smith@nsw.scouts.com.au. No experience necessary, we will give you all the training you need.
We also need a Chairperson, and a Fundraising Specialist for our Committee. A Committee is a vital part in the management of our Scout Group. In the position of chairperson you would be responsible for facilitating Committee meetings, the appointment of new committee members, and provide consultation as to the day to day running of the group alongside the group leader.
Fundraising is an integral part of Scouting, without which, our fees would be much higher. The Fundraising Specialist would co-ordinate Fundraising activites on a regular basis, across all 4 sections.
